IntuigenceAI announces the general availability of its Sovereign Industrial AI on the Microsoft Fabric workload hub. The platform compiles a plant’s scattered engineering record into a single knowledge graph in under 48 hours, work the industry still scopes in quarters, then puts Intuigents, IntuigenceAI’s synthetic engineers, on top of it that answer questions and execute engineering work.
Process and energy operators hold almost everything they need to know about their own plants and can query almost none of it. The record sits across thousands of engineering drawings, P&IDs, process flow diagrams and electrical schematics among them, alongside historian tags, datasheets, and shift logs, in formats that are not ready for general-purpose AI. Meanwhile, half the process-engineering workforce will reach retirement age this decade, and most of the knowledge they hold will be lost as it was never documented.
IntuigenceAI’s Sovereign Industrial AI compiles all that process engineering knowledge into one graph and puts a team of its synthetic engineers to work on it. It runs standalone in a customer’s own cloud, and it also runs inside Microsoft Fabric, for operators whose data is already in Fabric OneLake.
Data customers store in Fabric OneLake stays in their own Fabric tenant. IntuigenceAI reads it in place rather than copying it, and raw drawings and files never leave the customer’s tenant. Access runs through Microsoft Entra ID, so answers respect the permissions the customer already set. Operators with stricter requirements can take the whole platform, model inference included, inside their own Azure tenant, with per-tenant isolation and a complete audit trail. No customer data trains any model, IntuigenceAI’s included. The full platform is Industrial Sovereign: everything the plant knows, under its own command.
“We engineer synthetic engineers that deeply understand the plant, answer questions, and go beyond that in actually executing engineering work, all inside the customer’s own estate, under the customer’s own command.”
Moe Tanabian, founder and CEO, IntuigenceAI, and former Global Vice President of Industrial Software at Microsoft
The Fabric workload adds major capabilities: live plant state through Fabric Eventstream and Eventhouse, so IntuigenceAI’s Maven reasons over current conditions rather than a point-in-time snapshot; an industrial ontology grounded in customer data through Fabric IQ; plant-level and per-drawing graph visualization rendered inside the workload; and direct voice and video calls with a synthetic engineer without leaving Fabric.
“Fabric is at its strongest when partners build natively on it, operating on data that stays in OneLake and stays open. IntuigenceAI is bringing a class of industrial engineering work into Fabric that our energy and process-manufacturing customers have not been able to reach for years.”
Dipti Borkar, Vice President, Microsoft IQ and OneLake at Microsoft
“I see IntuigenceAI as the next generation of industrial technology.”
Doug Raven, former Senior Engineer, Saudi Aramco
Sovereign Industrial AI is generally available on the Microsoft Fabric workload hub and listed on Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
The team will be at the European Microsoft Fabric + SQL Community Conference in Barcelona, September 28 to October 1, and is co-hosting the Industrial AI Summit with Microsoft at their Houston office on November 4, an invitation-only half-day for leaders in America’s process industries, with speakers including Bill Braun, former CIO of Chevron, and Christoph Berlin, Vice President of Industrial AI and Manufacturing of Microsoft.

About IntuigenceAI
IntuigenceAI engineers a synthetic workforce for process manufacturing: AI chemical, mechanical, electrical, and plant-support engineers that compile a plant’s knowledge into a queryable graph and execute the engineering work the industry can no longer staff. The company was founded by Moe Tanabian, former Global Vice President of Industrial Software at Microsoft, is backed by Eric Schmidt’s venture firm, and has been running inside demanding production plants since 2024.
